Competence and Service-Points

With our SELLE services "consultation by phone", "office consultation", "in-house consultation", "cover note delivery in real time (for cars)" und "24-hour-online-portal incl. contract" we offer an (nearly) ideal service - by now not only in the Rhine-Neckar region, but far beyond. Even outside our office hours callers are not simply transferred to an answering machine, but  will speak to "real people" who will note down your wishes, which will promptly be dealt with by our SELLE office staff.

2016

Tradition and Evolution

Over seven decades and three generations of service as independent insurance brokers and consultants, we have been able to establish close and solid relationships with our clients. As of 2016 we are serving over 22.000 customers.

Training and Growth

As a certified training company registered with the IHK (chamber of industry and commerce) Rhein-Neckar we not only employ trainees since the 1980ies. Due to our own remarkable growth - which in fact is contrary to current trends - we are also insuring our business future for the benefit of your customers. Note: Since 2000 many insurance companies or their offices/agencies have left the Rhine-Neckar-Region or have completely disappeared from the German market.

2015

Sustainable and innovative insurance transactions "made by SSH"

Establishing the "SSH Versicherungsmakler GmbH & Co.KG" by Tim Selle und Robin Heckmann, accompanied and supported by Andreas Selle with over 40 years of experience in the field of insurance.

SSH complements the range of insurances offered by Andreas Selle & Team (Selle GmbH). Taking into account the growing demand in the Rhine-Neckar region, SSH is expanding our services by including those of over 100 nationally und internationally active insurance companies.

2010

In 2010 the third generation joined our insurance business tradtion with  Tim Selle (*1992) and Robin Heckmann (*1993), both qualified agents for insurance and financial services (IHK), ensuring the continuation and "fitness for future" of the family DNA founded by Hermann Selle sen.

1991

With Jutta Selle, wife of Andreas Selle, the family business expands further in 1991.

1976

In 1976 Andreas Selle follows in his father's footsteps and enters the insurance business. At the end of 1987 (entry into HRB  in spring 1988) the company changes its corporate form to a limited liability (GmbH) with a capital of 250.000 DM/ 127.822,50 €.

1946

In 1946 - at the age of 21 – the company founder, Hermann Selle, decided to take up the profession of an insurance agent. Originally based in Hannover, he moved via Frankfurt/Main to Mannheim and started a family here. He laid the foundation of our insurance service for the employees of BASF, Mercedes-Benz, EVO-Bus, Roche, Bilfinger and other companies in the Rhine-Neckar region.
